Ocean's 27 is a private site that a group of family members use to plan a June 2027 trip to Nags Head, North Carolina. Only people the organizer invites can use it. The site is not a business and it has no ads.
You join with a one-time invite code that the organizer (HBiC) gives you personally. We keep only a scrambled (hashed) copy of each code, and a random ID that we create for you. After that you log in with the email address and the callsign you gave us. We do not use Facebook or any other outside login.
You give us more information on the site. This includes your callsign, your email address, the June dates you are free, and whether you fly or drive. It also includes your flight details, your votes, your notes, and the links you share.
Our server also records your IP address and the time of each visit. We use these records to block abuse. If an email address gets five wrong logins in a day, or one internet address makes more than 100 failed attempts in a day, we block it until the organizer (HBiC) lifts the block. The block list keeps that email address, internet address and the last callsign typed, and only the organizer can read it.
We use your information to run the trip plan. We use your email address to send you trip reminders. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone outside the site.
Other approved family members can see your name, callsign, contact information, available dates, and the choices you make on the site.
The site sets one cookie. It keeps you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
We keep your information until the trip ends. The organizer deletes all data by September 30, 2027.
To delete your data, ask the organizer. The organizer is the family member who invited you. The organizer removes your information from the site database.
If we change this policy, we post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
